Hey everyone! So, I've been considering moving to British Columbia for a while now, but I’m still on the fence. Last year, I visited Vancouver for a short trip, and the scenery absolutely blew my mind. We hiked around Garibaldi Lake, and I was completely taken by how stunning the place was. But I’m curious about the day-to-day life there. Is BC really as amazing for living as it is for vacationing? I’d love to hear any thoughts, especially about the smaller towns. Anyone here with experience living in BC? What should I know before making the leap?

I’ve never lived in BC, but I’ve passed through a few times during road trips. From my experience, it's one of those places where you can find something for everyone. Whether you're into hiking, water sports, or just relaxing in a café with a mountain view, it seems like BC has it all. Even though I’m from out of province, I could easily see myself coming back to explore more. There's always something new to discover!
Oh, I totally get you! BC is an amazing place, but living there is a bit different than just visiting. I moved to a small town outside Victoria a few years ago, and it was a big change from city life, but in the best way possible. The communities here are really tight-knit, and there are so many opportunities to support local businesses in BC, which is something I didn’t expect to appreciate so much. If you’re thinking of a smaller town, it’s definitely worth exploring the local business scene to get a feel for the community vibe. It’s not always easy to adjust at first, but the lifestyle is incredibly rewarding if you're into nature and quieter living.
